Last Chance to Visit the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Exhibition

The Archives of the Ehrman Medical Library and the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery have designed an exhibit which highlights the Institute’s history and educational contributions to the field of reconstructive plastic surgery as well as clinical activities and research developments.  The exhibit is located at the entrance to the Medical Sciences Building near the Saul J Farber Institute and will be on display through April.

Smilow Gallery Inaugural Exhibition

The Master Scholars Program and the Ehrman Medical Library are proud to announce the first Smilow Gallery exhibition. During the month of April, the gallery will feature selected prints from Laura Ferguson’s The Visible Skeleton Series. An opening  reception will be on Thursday, April 3rd beginning at 5:30 with an artist lecture in the Smilow 1st floor Seminar Room, which will be followed by light refreshments.

Clin-eGuide: Clinical Decision Support

Clin-eguide is clinical support tool developed to assist health care providers make diagnosis and treatment decisions through accurate evidence-based medical information. This resource integrates content from Ovid, Facts & Comparisons, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, and others. It provides access to books, EBMR articles, drug information, MEDLINE, CINAHL, national guidelines and patient handouts in one interface, allowing users to search a variety of resources simultaneously.  There is a link to Clin-eGuide under “Handy Resources” on the left side of the Library Homepage.

Journal Move Update

Phase one of the bound journal move has been completed. As a reminder all bound journals dated prior to 2000 are now in storage.  Visit the Library’s Web site to see if a title is available electronically or complete an Interlibrary Loan request form also available via the Library’s Web page.
