| About the Faculty Bibliography: The Faculty Bibliography is a service of the Ehrman Digital Library. The purpose of the Bibliography is to gather citations to publications of NYU School of Medicine faculty into a single easy to use database. |

| Citations to faculty publications
are collected from online databases, most prominently Medline and MEDCat
(the Library's online catalog). Citations also come from Biological Abstracts,
EMBASE, Web of Science, and PsychInfo. In addition the Bibliography contains
citations to published works that does not appear in online databases,
but which have been identified by faculty themselves and verified by
the Library. At present there are over 85,000 citations in the database.
The Faculty Bibliography can be searched by a variety of indexes, including faculty name, department, article and journal title, phrases in article abstracts, and MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). Besides providing a convenient overview of faculty publications, the Bibliography is a component of the School of Medicine's online faculty research tracking system, which also includes:
