ProQuest
ProQuest offers a suite of databases on topics including business, alternative health, ethnic news, gender news, newspapers, and a research library. It is also possible to use ProQuest to search for historical issues of newspapers, most from the mid- to late-1800s to present. Newspapers available historically are Atlanta Constitution, Chicago Tribune, Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Defender, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post.
EBSCOhost Business Source Premier
This database provides access to the full text of nearly 8,200 journals, with coverage back to 1965. Subject coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. The database is updated daily.
Lexis Nexis
Provides full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications selected to meet academic research needs. Resources include health and medical journals, English and foreign language newspapers, over 400 magazines and journals, SEC filings and reports, and federal and state legal cases.

(1966 – present) The National Library of Medicine's database of journal citations currently indexing over 4,500 journals and containing more that 12 million citations. The majority of publications in MEDLINE are scholarly journals covering biomedicine and health, broadly defined to encompass those areas of the life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering needed by health professionals and others engaged in basic research and clinical care, public health, health policy development, or related educational activities. A small number of newspapers, magazines, and newsletters considered useful to particular segments of NLM's broad user community are also included.

The Advisory Board is a membership organization of 2,500 of the country's largest and most progressive health systems and medical centers. The Advisory Board provides best practices research and analysis to the health care industry, focusing on business strategy, operations, and general management issues.
American Hospital Association
National organization representing and serving all types of hospitals, health care systems, networks, and providers, as well as their patients and communities. Information available on their site includes representation and advocacy activities concerning national health policy development, legislative and regulatory debates, and judicial matters, education for health care leaders, and health care issues and trends.

Greater New York Hospital Association

Technology Assessments (AHRQ)
The technology assessment program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) provides technology assessments for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). These technology assessments are used by CMS to inform its national coverage decisions for the Medicare program as well as provide information to Medicare carriers.
United Hospital Fund
Through integrated research, program development, and policy initiatives, the United Hospital Fund promotes better healthcare in New York City by identifying problems and testing practical solutions.
