• CINAHL (Ovid)
  Scanning over 2,000 journals, provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health. Also provides access to healthcare books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of professional practice, educational software and audiovisual materials.
  
  
• MEDLINE (Ovid)
  Produced by the National Library of Medicine (NLM), MEDLINE is the premier biomedical database, which is licensed by Ovid Technologies and contains citations from
  approximately 4,600 medical journals for the United States and over 70 other countries.
  
  
• Evidence-based Practice (various)
  Contains links to pre-filtered databases available via the NYU Medical Center network. Descriptions are available at this link.
  
  
• Health & PsychoSocial Instruments (HAPI) (Ovid)
  Contains primary and secondary material on behavioral measurement instruments such as questionnaires, interview schedules, tests, checklists, rating and other scales, coding schemes, and projective techniques.
  
  
• Web of Science/Social Sciences Citation Index
  The Social Sciences Citation Index, a database within the Web of Science suite, is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the social sciences, including emphasis in the nursing discipline. It fully indexes more than 1,725 journals across 50 social sciences disciplines, and it indexes individually selected, relevant items from over 3,300 of the world's leading scientific and technical journals.

• Clinical Pharmacology Online
  Provides peer reviewed, clinically-relevant information on drugs available in the United States, including off-label uses and dosages, herbal supplements, nutritional products, and new and investigational drugs.
  
  
• Micromedex
  A collection of 28 databases, Micromedex provides comprehensive disease, drug, acute care, and toxicology information.
  
  
• Pharmacology Math
  Nurses must perform dosage calculations when administering medications and intravenous fluids.  Pharmacology math is a website that assists nurses who are required the nurse to know systems of measurement (metric, household, apothecary, and avoirdupois) and how to convert within those systems of measurement.  Other system of measurements include units (common for insulin and heparin), milliequivalents (mEq) (common for some drugs such as potassium chloride), and international units (IU) (common for vitamins).
