mobile MICROMEDEX is now available for
Palm & PocketPC!

The Ehrman Medical Library's subscription to the MICROMEDEX drug database also includes a PDA program called mobile MICROMEDEX. The program includes five databases:

• Drug Info
• Alternative Medicine Info
• Acute Care Info
• Toxicology Info
• Drug Interaction Tool

In order to download, you must have Internet access on the computer with your syncing cradle. The following platforms are supported:

• Pocket PC Operating System Version: Win2000 and Win2002, with at least 6.5MB free PDA memory
• Palm Operating System Version: 3.5.2H1, 3.5.0, 4.0, and 4.1 with at least 5MB free PDA memory.
• PC running Windows® 98 / NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP (for the download from the web) (Please note—Macs are not supported at this time.)

You also need the customer number found on the mobile MICROMEDEX Web site, only accessible on the NYU network (link to MICROMEDEX on the library's home page and click on the PDA icon) and a valid e-mail address . During the installation process, mobile MICROMEDEX will send you an activation code to continue installation.
