Scheduling the CCC
Any non-Ehrman Medical Library instructor may reserve the CCC
for a class using the Online
CCC Reservation Request Form. For questions regarding scheduling the
classroom, please contact Circulation at 263-5395 or email circ@library.med.nyu.edu.
If additional software has to be installed on the CCC computers in order to
conduct the class, or if you have special technical requirements, please indicate
this in the Special Requests section of the online Reservation Request Form.
The Library Medical Informatics Group (LMIG) will handle requests for additional
software installations.
All scheduled classes are entered in the CCC calendar. CCC calendar events
indicate who the instructors or sponsors of the classes are. A copy of the
calendar is posted on the CCC door, and a second copy is kept at the Library
Service Desk.
CCC Keys
Keys to the CCC are available at the Service Desk (the Library's
Circulation and Information area). Before a scheduled class, please
present your ID to the Service Desk staff, and indicate that you have
reserved the CCC. A member of the Library staff will unlock the classroom
for you. When the class over, please call the Service Desk at 3-5395 so
that Library staff can lock the classroom again.
If you plan to use the classroom before 8:30am , you must check out a key to the CCC before 11pm the night before. Please present your ID at the Library Services and indicate that you will need a key to the CCC for an early morning class. Please return the key to the Library Services Desk as soon as you have shut down the room.
Please make sure the CCC is ready for the next class. Report any problems to Circulation at 263-5395 or email circ@library.med.nyu.edu .
Turn off the projector. Leave all the computers on, including the instructor's workstation. Leave all the computers as you found them.
If configuration or software options have been changed to accommodate a class, it is your responsibility to ensure that systems are restored to normal classroom configuration when the class is concluded.
If the Library Medical Informatics Group has installed software for you, please notify the Library when you are finished using the classroom so that software can be uninstalled. Please notify the Library at 263-5395 or email circ@library.med.nyu.edu . Please remember to indicate the exact piece of software that needs to be uninstalled.
Please remove all papers and other classroom materials that you brought with you for your class. Any materials left behind will be discarded by Library staff during their regular maintenance visits.
