Go to the Adobe
Acrobat Reader page. (Clicking on this link will open the Adobe site
in a new browser window).
Choose the language, platform, and connection speed specific for you.
In step 2, choose whether you want to download the full version of the
reader (15.3 MB) or a smaller version (missing a few features, 8.7 MB) and
click the "Download" button.
Once the download has begun, a dialog box will appear to prompt you to
specify where you would like to save the file on your computer. Be sure
to remember where you save the file. The easiest place to find will probably
be your desktop. Once you have specified the location, click "Save".
Once the download is complete, locate the file you just saved and double
click on it. This will begin the installation process.
Click "Next" through the dialog boxes. The installation program
will then begin installing the Acrobat Reader.
Finished! You've just installed Adobe's PDF Reader. When you click on
a link containing a PDF document in the future, Adobe's Reader should automatically
open and enable you to view the document.
