Search Services
Hours:
9:00am - 5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

The Ehrman Medical Library provides a large selection of bibliographic databases in support of research and patient care to the NYU medical community. With the proliferation of electronic resources comes the need to know how to access accurate information in a timely manner.

Mediated searching is a service provided for the library patron who does not have the time or expertise to conduct his or her own literature search(es). Mediated searching is provided free of charge to students, faculty and staff of NYU School of Medicine, Medical Center and affiliated hospitals. A trained professional will search a variety of databases to meet your research needs. To request a literature search, please go to the Literature Search Request Form online.

If you are interested in setting up a "current awareness" service, please contact us via this form or at (212) 263-5397. Searches will be e-mailed to you on a scheduled basis to be determined by you and the librarian.
