The main entrance for the NYU Medical Center is located at 530-560 First Avenue, at East 31st Street (map). You will enter the main lobby of the Medical Center.
Go thru the doorway marked 550 - School of Medicine. Walk straight ahead, until you come to the double glass doors marked Joan and Joel Smilow Research Center. This is the entrance for Library Administration, Archives and Carlisle Computer Classroom. To find the main level of the library, take the elevator or stairs on your left down one floor to the G (ground) level. The main library entrance (glass doors) is on your left.
