Access Policy for Spouses/Domestic Partners and Dependents of NYULMC Faculty, Staff, and Students

The resources of the Frederick L. Ehrman Medical Library are available to the spouses/domestic partners and/or dependents of NYULMC faculty, staff and student for purposes of project, which require the specialized resources of a medical library.

However, this privilege is conditional and may be withdrawn at any time.

Members of the NYULMC community with a partner and/or dependent who would like to use the resources of the library for such special project purposes must complete the form requesting access and submit it to the Circulation Supervisor (extension 35395).

If access is granted, an identification card (“Blue Card”) will be issued to that individual. The person must keep the ID card with them when they are in the library.

All resources are for in-house use only. No checkout will be permitted by that individual.

Document Delivery Services and mediated searches are not available. Self-service copying is available via a copy card.

The above policy applies to minor dependents also. Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by the NYULMC staff member.

Infants and toddlers are not permitted, and unattended children are not allowed in the Ehrman Medical Library. Library administration will be called if children are left unattended, and Security may also be notified.
