Our Mission
The mission of the Frederick L. Ehrman Library is to enhance learning,
research and patient care at New York University Medical Center by effectively
managing knowledge-based resources, providing client-centered information
services and education, and extending access through new initiatives in
information technology.
National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Middle Atlantic Region
The Frederick L. Ehrman Medical Library became the Regional Medical Library, Middle Atlantic Region in May, 2006, after being awarded a five-year contract from the National Library of Medicine. It is one of eight Regional Medical Libraries within in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM). The Middle Atlantic Region consists of Delware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We work to provide all U.S. health professionals equal access to biomedical information and to improve the public's access to information.
