The Frederick L. Ehrman Medical Library, a department of the NYU School of Medicine, serves the students, faculty and staff of the NYU School of Medicine and the NYU Hospitals. Access to the library is permitted only with a valid ID from NYU. In addition, access and some services are provided to the students, faculty, and staff of the entire NYU community. Certain reciprocity or alumni agreements offered by Bobst or other NYU Libraries are not valid at the Ehrman Medical Library. For further access questions, please consult the Library’s Access Chart.
Access Requests
Any access requests for NYU’s Ehrman Medical Library should be made during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Please submit an access request or contact the Circulation Manager by phone at 212-263-5395 or by e-mail at circ@library.med.nyu.edu.
U.S. Federal Government Documents
New York University's Ehrman Medical Library welcomes the use of its collections of U.S.
Federal government documents by members of the general public. Members of the general public who obtain access specifically to use depository documents may use only depository materials. Other materials in the Ehrman Medical Library which are purchased for the collections are for the use of New York University affiliates only.
Members of the public who wish to use depository materials must contact the Circulation Supervisor at 212-263-3595 or email circ@library.med.nyu.edu, providing the titles of the materials s/he wishes to use. These materials will be made available to the user at the Circulation Desk of the Library.
