Access to Medical Literature for the General Public -
Loansome Doc

Loansome Doc is a document ordering system that is used in conjunction with NLM's Gateway or PubMed.

1. If the Ehrman Medical Library owns the item being requested we will copy the article and send it according to the specified delivery method.
   Charge:  $20.00 per article
   Turnaround time:  48 hours      
   
   
2. If the Ehrman Medical Library does NOT own the item it can be obtained, if specified in your request, from a Docline participating institution that holds the item.
   Charge:  $20.00 per article
   Turnaround time:  up to two weeks 

Prior to providing any services NYU Medical Library will need a $200 deposit to be used towards article fees, payable by check or money order only. Prices are subject to change.  

There is no limit on the number of articles that can be ordered. 

To register for a Loansome Doc account with us print out the Registration Form, complete, and mail with $200 deposit to the Ehrman Medical Library.
