How do I access resources from home via the NYUHSL catalog?

All of the electronic journals, databases, and ebooks included in the NYU Health Sciences Library’s collection are available to NYU students, faculty, and staff while working offsite.

To find and access the library’s resources, you can search the catalog from the Library’s website (https://hsl.med.nyu.edu). Enter search terms in the “Journals, Databases and Books” search box located in the center of the Library’s homepage.

The NYUHSL catalog will show the results. Once you have found the record, click on “details” for information about where you can access the journal. You will be required to authenticate with your Kerberos ID or Net ID and password.

In some cases, the library has access to electronic journals through multiple providers. You may be directed to a page that lists multiple providers of the journal, with different dates of coverage. Click on any of them to gain access.

Many journals offer a direct link to the current issue, or all issues.

The issue can be read in full, or articles downloaded in PDF format.
